You need to use the right kind of sunscreen before you go out and every three hours after that. You can try to avoid moving between 11 am and 4 pm, especially in the summer, as the effect can be worst during these hours. There are many times when you cannot avoid moving during these hours, but even if you do, wear clothing that can cover your entire body.
