The Basic Skincare Routine That Anyone Can Follow

All our organs need regular detox and care; why should our skin be treated any differently?

Why should I care about skincare?

In recent years, skin care has been considered a vanity. A person who pays attention to his body is labeled as a narcissist. But you must understand that daily work, busy schedules, and a hectic and unhealthy lifestyle take a toll on your body. Symptoms of poor health show up first on your skin and then on any other part of your body. Time does take its toll on us, but premature wrinkles, dull skin, sun damage, and some serious conditions like eczema and psoriasis can be prevented and treated with the right skincare routine.

How can I start the right and ideal routine?

Before designing a regimen, you need to know your skin type. You must also check for any other issues you would like to resolve. You need to understand that there is no set regimen for everyone because we are all different. What works for your family or friends may not be the best solution for you.

What is a basic skin care regimen?

Since routines vary by skin type, we've put together a primary practice that will work for everyone. It includes -

For the morning ritual

1. Purification

To clean, you need to invest in a sulfate-free cleanser. These cleansers are gentle and don't strip away natural oils, leaving you feeling smoother and softer. A good cleanser will remove excess oil and dirt without drying you out.

2. Toning

Avoid toners that contain alcohol. Alcohol toners are harsh and drying. You can use natural toners like rose water. And if you have dry skin, you can skip this step.

3. Hydrating

Moisturizers help with hydration.

For night time

1. Purification

If you're wearing makeup, you'll need to wipe off every bit of makeup and dirt with cleansing oil and wash off the rest with a cleanser.

2. Apply serum

Antioxidant serums are rich in nutrients formulated to nourish your face.

3. Eye cream

People who have puffy eyes or dark circles will enjoy using a suitable eye cream.

4. Hydrating
