What is the fastest way to cure lower back pain?

Helps chronic back pain

Most of the patients, I see in my chiropractic practice have back pain. Some people experience short-term unconsciousness. It is called acute pain. However, some people have had constant pain for many years or have episodic pain for long periods. It is called chronic pain. Even if the pain is there for years, it can be overcome and helped. This article will discuss chronic back pain and approaches to reduce this common condition.

When I see a patient with chronic back pain, three things come into consideration.

First, we look at the weight of a person's body.  Intervertebral discs are like cushions or shock absorbers between the vertebrae called vertebrae. The more weight we put on the discs and joints of the spine, the more likely it is that this deep anatomical structure can fail and cause pain. When we look at X-rays of the spine, we see obvious signs of wear and tear. The disc protrudes and looks like a "bone on a bone". Disc space will show a decrease in height as the disc wears out. We will also see an increase in calcium in the so-called "bone area" of vertebrates.

An obvious solution is to help overweight or obese patients lose enough weight. Although I do not offer a weight loss program in my office, it is straightforward to follow a safe and secure program for patients. I personally like my patients to follow a keto-type plan to help with their weight issues.

A second area to consider to reduce chronic back pain is incorporating appropriate physical activity. People who have to sit for long periods, It finds that they feel better if they get up and walk around a bit. When muscles, joints, and ligaments move safely and properly, they send signals to the brain that naturally reduce and reduce pain signals. If a person can walk comfortably, this is the best exercise to relieve chronic back pain. However, if walking is not possible, stationary cycling or water aerobics is acceptable.

The third aspect that must be addressed in alleviating back pain is alignment and proper movement of the spine itself. Chiropractic care is the gold standard for helping chronic back pain. Chiropractors use spinal adjustments, sometimes spinal manipulation, to restore proper alignment and movement of the spinal joints.

Adjustments help reduce chronic irritation of the joints and spinal nerves. For more than 125 years, doctors of chiropractic have been helping patients with chronic back pain to reduce and relieve pain.

Anyone seeking relief from persistent, long-term back pain can use any or all of the approaches mentioned above in their quest for wellness.
